To quote: So, it’s my first post of 2010, bye bye 2009 it was fun. What were your highlights of the year we’ve just left by the wayside? What are your resolutions for the coming year (apart from playing lots of games of course)?

Personally, I thought 2009 was a pretty good year for gaming, but I think from many aspects a lot of what made 2009 good for me (apart from the games actually released) were the glimpses, and promises, of what’s to come this year.

Even though I didn’t manage to get there myself, I felt that E3 really cranked up the expectations of what is to come in 2010…I feel it could be a vintage year for the gaming industry (though I reserve the right to renege on this assumption this time next year, if I’m wrong).

I wanted a chance to drop by and let everyone know that a demo of Dark Void will be releasing this Thursday on the PlayStation Store. We figure why not start the new year with a bit of jet pack action.

So what’s in the demo?

With all the aspects of [url=http://www.darkvoidgame.com]Dark Void[/url] ranging from ground combat, jetpack dogfighting, vertical combat, its hard to slam everything into a 10 minute window

We decided that everyone would want to get a feel for flight right off the bat, so we start you off with a bit of flying tutorial, then get into some serious UFO dogfighting (well, not that serious, but it should be enough for people to figure out what button does what and kill some Watchers… which is really what it is all about when you get down to it).
