Killzone 3 PS3 Beta Multiplayer Web Site Launches, Details Coming

A few days back we saw [url=http://www.ps3news.com/PS3-Online/rumor-killzone-3-playstation-3-beta-is-coming-soon/]hints[/url] that the Killzone 3 PS3 beta may be coming, and today further confirmation arrives with the launch of the official Killzone 3 PlayStation 3 Web site [url=http://beta.killzone.com/kz3/beta-login.html]HERE[/url].

According to [b]JamesM5150[/b] via IronStarMovement.com (linked above), more Killzone 3 PS3 details are expected to surface at this year’s Gamescom convention, which runs from August 18th to the 22nd, 2010.

To quote: "This pretty much confirms that there will be indeed some sort of public beta announcement soon, considering everyone that had access to the Killzone 2 multiplayer beta (which started: 10/08/08) can view the Killzone 3 beta listing themselves.

There is also a Killzone 3 beta website that allows you to log-in with your PlayStation Network ID, however, you cannot access the contents of the webpage just yet and your PSN ID is claimed

Guerrilla Games Director Details Killzone 3 PS3 Controls

Guerrilla Games Director [b]Victor Zuylen[/b] has detailed a comparison of the controls between Killzone 2 and the upcoming PS3 video game Killzone 3.

To quote from the official site, linked above: "For Killzone 3, Guerrilla’s developers are aiming to keep the unique sense of weight in the game while ramping up the accuracy and responsiveness of the controls. We talked to Game Director [b]Mathijs de Jonge[/b] to get a better idea of the considerations involved with the redesign.

"Our first priority when we started working on the controls for Killzone 3 was to listen closely to Killzone 2′s players – what they liked, what they disliked, and how they felt things could be improved," Mathijs says.

"Accuracy and responsiveness consistently came up as the top issues. At the same time, a lot of players were saying they loved the weighty feel."

Sony’s Social Media Manager [b]Jeff Rubenstein[/b] has shared a video reveal today on the PlayStation Blog interviewing [b]Steven Ter Heide[/b] from Guerrilla Games on their upcoming PS3 title Killzone 3.

To quote: What’s going to change in Killzone 3? The answer: a LOT.

Fresh off their European Killzone 3 media event, Guerrilla Games dropped into San Francisco to unveil [url=http://killzone.com/kz/index.psml]Killzone 3[/url] to the North American press for the first time last night, 3D TVs en tow.

I grabbed a few moments (well, 11 minutes, actually) with [url=http://www.guerrilla-games.com/]Guerrilla Games[/url]‘ Senior Producer Steven Ter Heide to talk jetpacks, fan requests, new Helghast foes, and how Killzone 3 will improve upon Killzone 2 in terms of graphics, controls, combat, and more.
