Video: Resistance 3 on PS3: Enemies and Artificial Intelligence

Insomniac Games Senior Community Manager [b]James Stevenson[/b] has shared a PlayStation 3 developer diary video today spotlighting the enemies and artificial intelligence in Resistance 3 on the PS3 entertainment system.

To quote: We are working hard here at Insomniac HQ, putting the finishing touches on Resistance 3 in time for our September 6th release date.

We were happy with all of our fantastic comments on the first video in our Dev Diary series, which focused on environments and storyline.

Many of you immediately asked "when is the next one coming?" I’m happy to answer that the latest video is now available! It focuses on Resistance 3′s vicious new Chimeran enemies and the significant artificial intelligence improvements we’re making, including enhanced group tactics.

Slam Bolt Scrappers: Brawling and Building Mash-Up Coming to the PlayStation Store March 15th

Slam Bolt Scrappers is a frenzied brawler/puzzler set inside Slam Bolt City where players create and defend their own towers while attacking opponents. The one to four player multiplayer matches allow each player to assemble buildings and weapons from multi-colored blocks that drop like the ones seen in Tetris from defeated enemies.

Video: Tehra: Dark Warrior Arrives on PSP and PS3 Minis via PSN

StormBASIC Games Marketing Head [b]Pilar Pino[/b] has revealed that Tehra: Dark Warrior is hitting PSN for both PSP and PS3 Minis, with the PSP Minis version arriving today!

To quote: Tehra: Dark Warrior PSP Minis is out! TDW is a fantasy-based RPG slasher set in the times of knights and dragons.

As you navigate through each level you encounter numerous enemies or varying size and strength. Using the power of your large sword you battle through grabbing and slashing everything in your path.

The game is set in the land of Sistar, a city laid to waste due to endless war between the humans and a tribe of vicious mythical demons called the Urka’h.

As the main player in the game, you move through realistic 3D environments aiming to grow stronger and gain more skill to ultimately defeat stronger enemies.

Throughout the game you’re likely to meet a number of creatures, including the likes of Orcs, the undead, Mages, enormous Trolls and some of which will be unknown to man.

European PlayStation Store Update for May 26, 2010

Today [b]Mike Kebby[/b] of the SCEE PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PlayStation Store update, as follows:

The first of the new games I want to highlight this week is Fret Nice, which takes the world of guitar based rock and platforming gameplay mechanics and combines them into a side-scrolling game…intriguing no?

Moving on, we have the sequel to Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer, this time with an easier to pronounce title too; Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype.

This game features masses of enemies, an arsenal of explosive weaponry, and looks pretty gorgeous too, it’s also a great reminder of the old-school side-scrolling shooters of yesteryear too (what is it with side-scrolling games this week?).

For those of you who have bought the Sam and Max bundle, then Episode 2: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak (catchy title huh, did you see what they did there?) is available this week too.
