Rockstar is unlikely to publish the next Team Bondi game, according sources close to the developer. Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, two former Team Bondi employees one a gameplay programmer and the other a game designer claimed relations between Rockstar and the developer were “badly damaged” over the course of the L.A. Review: Swarm

Platformers are a mixed bag for me. If they're done right like Little Big Planet or Mario, they're awesome. If they're done bad, well, you get the idea. Well, the new platformer, Swarm, by developer Hothead Games is a platformer with a concept unlike most. It's focus is on (wait for it) a swarm of aliens. Does this game suck like so many others in the market or does it stand out from the crap? Hit the break to find out.

Keeping in line with the latest [url=http://www.ps3news.com/PS3-Hacks-JailBreak/Graf-Chokolo-Releases-Petitboot-Tools-for-Linux-on-PS3/]PS3 Linux Dual-Booting[/url] work from PlayStation 3 developer [b]Graf Chokolo[/b], today [b]Kmeaw[/b] has stated the following to Dukio on his upcoming 3.55 PS3 Custom Firmware update, to quote:

"We haven’t heard from Kmeaw for quite some time, so I managed to get a hold of him and it seems he might bring us another interesting release that should comes in the form of CFW. No, it’s not 3.60 CFW, if you still don’t get it.

I was thinking of a CFW that has bootOS integrated so it gets executed when you power on your PS3 (and switches back to GameOS on user’s request via menu or ssh). It’s not hard to make it. But recently I read graf’s announcment that he is going to accomplish the same task. So I don’t know, if such CFW from me would get any demand.

Also I got bootos-installer and lv2patcher patches from an anonymous hacker who have added 3.1

Over the weekend Spanish developer [b]Alegoria[/b] from DemonHades (linked above) released Magic PKG v0.2 Beta, a PlayStation 3 homebrew application that allows users to create PS3 PKG files.

To quote, roughly translated: We inform this new application is being developed by Alegoria to easily create PKGs.

The idea is to convert the physical format games DG HG property to run directly from the HDD without having to undergo any manager games (Multimedia).

I discussed this in beta but from DHorg want to give our support to continue developing and improving this tool that looks great
