Blinkbox Video-on-Demand Service Is Now Optimized for the PS3

Video-on-demand service Blinkbox was recently made available to stream movies on PlayStation 3 consoles, and now it has been optimized for the PS3‘s browser and gamepad.

Blinkbox offers a wide range of TV shows and movies that users can rent or buy, as well as a number of free videos also available to stream.

CEO of Blinkbox [b]Michael Comish[/b] states: "The PS3 is the first of a number of devices to which we will be bringing Blinkbox, enabling customers to use our service on their TVs for instant streaming of new blockbuster movies – available on the same day as their release on DVD – as well as a growing library of free ad-supported titles."

According to CriticalGamer.co.uk (linked above), Blinkbox is now easier to navigate through the menus via PS3 and an overall smoother experience to use.
